Kazekage Gaara [Naruto]

Worn : [2005] SF Sakura Matsuri, Fanime

Why : Gaara is my favorite sandkid. So what better motivation to make a costume, besides the outfit itself?

Thoughts : I definitely needed to get use to the mass of eyeliner around my eyes. And it's always a pain when you want to rub your eyes, but have to restrain yourself or you'll smear it. ^^() The gourd definitely takes its toll after 5 hours of carrying it around... but in the end, I always have a blast wearing this costume.

Awards : 4th place @ SF Sakura Matsuri 2005
