Forever in Paradise
No sun, yet I was surrounded by light. Looking around, I saw no source, but this light had a comforting quality. Feeling relaxed, warm, as if the light was soothing me from within, bringing happiness and well-being. Pain, fear, and sadness were nonexistent in my memory. Feelings of joy, peace, and tranquility controlled by being. It all seemed like a dream, yet it was real.
Growing accustomed to these feeling, I became aware of my surroundings. Looking around, a great excitement overcame me at what I saw. Beauty so unbelievable, it couldn't be real, yet it was. Amazed, I stood in awe.
Rejoicing filled the air from a multitude of voices in perfect harmony. Caressing my soul with a special peace and filling my heart with a soothing melody of love.
Excited, I noticed the change in my body, the feeling of freedom and effortless movement, without physical limitations. Past pains and handicaps were nonexistent.
Aware of others around me, especially one figure who beckoned to me, a smile grew on my face. Excitement swept over me, causing me to jump and shout out loud, "I am home." Running to Jesus, throwing my arms around Him and feeling His great love, which brought me from an imperfect life to this new perfect body and an eternal home.
The source of light, so radiant it chased even the shadows away was God. Filled with joy, my voice became a puppet to my heart, joining in with the other voices. Singing, no longer off key or imperfect, like Jesus always heard from his true believers coming from the soul, a never ending song of praise to our creator.
Walking down the golden streets, singing His praises, knowing only joy, peace, love, and Jesus. Home, . . . . . . forever in paradise.
Will heaven be like this? These feeble words can't begin to describe it or do it justice.
The truth, He's coming, probably sooner than we expect. He's preparing a home for us, His followers, beyond our wildest dreams, for eternity. There, the Touch of the Master will be more intimate than ever before. Be Ready.
