A Roaring Lion

He's diabolical at setting

each one of his traps

And so quickly he can strike

Before you know where he's at.

He's the best at what He does,

So cunning and so smart,

And He'll never, ever stop

Till he's captured every heart.

He just wants you to think

And believe he doesn't exist,

Then like a roaring lion

He'll tear your soul to bits.

He wants your ego to believe

That your the one that's smart

That you don't need the Father

To dwell inside your heart.

But don't be fooled and do it

For you'll play into his hand

For without God on your side

There's just no chance of you to stand.

For God above knows how

Satan openly hides,

And He sent us His Holy Spirit

To be there as our guide.

To fight against this one

Self proclaimed master of deceit,

For only through God's strength

Can we hope him to defeat.

So continue to resist him

   Each time that he returns,

And for God's love and mercy

May your heart always yean.

Till the day of His great coming

When He calls His children to Him

Banishing Satan and his followers

To destruction at hell's fiery rim.
