Treasures Above

Let me tell you my children a story

About treasures, a Farmer, and his glory.

A foolish farmer had so much stuff

Yet he thought it wasn’t enough

He wanted more, much, much more

Can you tell me children what for?

Heaven’s the place our treasures should be

Yet, something earth’s treasures are all we see.

God tells us its not what we gain here

But treasures in heaven we should hold dear.

To share what we have, our time, and our love

Will store treasures in heaven with the Father above.
