How Great I Am

I said to God, "How great I am"

Just look at all I've done,

I preach your word and help the poor

Aren't you glad I am your son?

I have great faith and heavenly hope

And I love all your poor lost souls,

I know most all Your written Word

I must be a the top of heaven's rolls.

But God looked down upon my life

And said with a loving heart,

You can't be save upon your own

Your works don't play a part.

Your life must be an instrument

For My Spirit to work through you

So those around will see My Light

And not just the deeds you do.
