More Than Conquerors
I'm told rejoice when trials come
That through them I'll receive,
A closer walk with God above
If in Him I'll believe.
But sometimes it seems I carry
A load too hard to bear,
And I fall upon my knees and cry
For me God, do you really care?
Then I read the words of Paul
Coming down from God above,
That I am more than a conqueror
Through the Father's glorious love.
God said He'll never leave me
Or take His love away.
He's there beside to help me
Make the best of each new day.
Since God is for me, on my side
Then I will stand up strong
I'll feel His power in my life
And sing the victor's song.
