TEACH YOUR CHILDREN 
All of us whom God has blessed
By sending us a child,
Must be aware of what it brings
From the start when they first smiled.
We're sent a life, a precious soul,
To love and raise in God,
It'll not be easy, we'll have to learn
When and why to use the rod.
But as we teach, we must also learn
Patience and what they need,
Knowing they are watching us
In their minds we're sowing seed.
For them to grow and mature in God
They need to understand
That we'll be there to hear them out
Not just reprimand.
Tell them we'll be there for them
To listen because we care,
Just like the Father up above
Who hears each child's prayer.
