ISN’T IT AMAZING

When I try to understand

What the Father did for me

Sending down His only Son

To die upon that tree.

When I look inside my life

And the failure that I see

How could He love this sinful heart

How amazing can that be?

When over and over I miss the mark

And the guilt is hard to bear

He hears my prayers and forgives again

It’s amazing how much He cares.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me

I once was lost, but now I’m found

Was blind, but now I see.

My prayer dear God, is keep me close

That someday I’ll see your face,

Everyday may my life give thanks

For Your Amazing Grace.
