Popcorn

I'll make a big bowl of popcorn

And you make us a fire

Is the movie ready to go

I peek my head in to inquire.

I cuddle up to you on the couch

With a smile and offer you a bite

The movie starts, the night begins

In your arms everything is right.

Popcorn, a romantic movie and you

I feel like I'm in heaven

If the movie is a good one

We'll be in bed by eleven.

Of course at the end I cry

And did I see a tear from you?

Thank you for a lovely night

Now let's go cuddle in bed, too.
