TRANSFORMERS
"Transformers"- This requires the use of a fader or a switch (or anything else that can turn the sound on and off). With a transform you start with the fader off (no sound) then as you play the sample you quickly switch the sound on and off repeatedly creating a flickering sound. The key difference that sets the transform apart from it's distant relative the flare, is that you are cutting little bits of sound in, rather than clicking and taking little bits out. The variables here are fader speed and movement of the record. Try dragging the sample back and forth while transforming altering the speed of fader and record. You get the idea..mess about and see what you can come up with.
