| "Flare"- O.k...there's a lot of confusion about what constitutes a flare, and i'm by no means saying my definition is right. For the moment i am going to define it as follows. The key to the flare is all about the clicks, since it bears more than a passing resemblence in it's execution to an orbit. A flare is basically an orbit but has 1 less click on the backwards motion. So a 1 click flare would be 1 click on the forwards.....0 clicks on the reverse. A 2 click flare would be 2 clicks on the forward and 1 click on the reverse. So your handy formula for a flare is as follows: An x-click flare has x clicks on the forward motion and (x-1) clicks on the reverse...... So a 1 click flare would be like this: ye.ah-heay-ye.ah-heay-ye.ah-heay-ye.ah-heay-ye.ah And a 2 click flare would be like this (using the sample wicked for symmetrical ease!!) wi.ck.ed-dek.ciw-wi.ck.ed-dek.ciw-wi.ck.ed-dek.ciw-wi.ck.ed |
