Let me just start off by saying thank you to Larry Elmore for making his portrait art available through his Larry Elmore Studio© program. If you want to see more of his art, or possibly purchase the program, visit his website at www.larryelmore.com. It does not disappoint.
This is the story line for a group of players that enjoy each others company first...and role play second. I set this up just so that they will all know what has happened in the past, and maybe they will get a couple of clues as to what can and will happen in the future of this campaign. They are my best friends in the world, and I would not give them up for anything.
If you just cruised into this site and liked what you have read, drop me a line. If I get enough requests I will make a personal website with more stories that I have written.
Without any further hemming and hawing...here is their story:

Their Characters:

Aldarys |
Born on the Moon Isle, Aldarys was raised with
his mother's elven family and never had much communication with his
father's human relatives. He lived a life of privilege, if not leisure.
He learned of his sorcerers nature and how to control the magic that
flowed through him. He learned how to use the fine weapons of the
elves, eschewing the heavier weapons favored by men and dwarves as
uncivilized.
Having left the isle for the first time in his life to answer the call of Ispen Guiver, Aldarys has found that he passes for elf among the world of men. |

Sonja |
Raised among the druid-folk of the Ambergosa
Woods, Sonja leads a life of quite respect for nature and the fey
folk. Her people are closely tied to the Amazon women who share
the forest with them.
The men of the cities consider her folk both weak and soft, but when pressed into sore battle, Sonja shows that her people will not back down from the fight. |

Spike |
Born into the line of Queens among the
Amazons, Spike has the breeding and training to be the most beautiful,
and the most deadly, of warriors. She wields any weapon that she
chooses, but her favorite is the two handed great sword that makes her
seven foot frame all the more imposing. She rides nothing but the
finest mounts, and she aspires to train a mount that will give her the
greatest advantage in battle.
Many think that the denizens of her kingdom call her Spike because of the lethal armor that she wears. In fact, Spike is a family name, borne by many of the great Queens of the Amazons in the past, but only recently brought back into good use for the future Queen. |

Tragg |
Having spent many years mining and fighting
among the mountain clans, Tragg has found solace in the shroud of
religion. He has taken up the war hammer in defense of Kord, the
god of strength.
Tragg still maintains a fierce pride in his lineage and in the craft of his people. He is quick to use his hammer to solve problems, only turning to his faith after he manages to overcome the years conditioning from life in the dwarven mining colonies. |

MacIvernasterson (Mac) |
He is a mystery, wrapped in a riddle, bound by
an enigma...no...wait...he is just a silly bard. Which is
he? Mac cares not where he has been, and wonders not where he is
going. His path is aimless and boundless. He lives for
adventure, and the chance to tell his stories in taverns that his road
crosses. He voices his opinions where ever he may, and tries to
tie a knot or two in other people's plans, just so that he can watch
them unravel the trouble that he causes.
In the end, no one pays special attention to the bard, not when there are so many other problems in the world... |
