Bog rosemary, Labrador tea, mountain ash, blueberries, wild strawberries, and columbine are now in bloom. With the generous spring rains, a bumper berry crop is in the offing. Recently, while roaming the woods, Ron saw several pink moccasin flowers and a pair of Canada Geese nesting on his newly-developed ponds south of camp.

There are many great wildflowers in Minneapolis this summer-- especially this beautiful "All Face" hybrid tea rose, which was found yesterday in a secret patch:
