If Miami wins or ties Pitt in the rematch with Pitt (in 2 weeks) they will clinch a bid to the Fiesta Bowl, regardless of their other two remaining games. If Pitt beats Miami in the rematch, then the higher ranked team would take the conference title after the final week of games. Pitt would likely need to win out its remaining 3 games. At this point both teams still control their own destiny.
