Early in the game Kansas forced Nebrasa83 to a 3 and out, and drove to the 5 yard line, then things began to unravel. Kanas would next fumble on the Nebraksas 5 yard line. Nebraska would drive for a 7-0 lead. Next possession Kansas still angry went for it on 4th and 3 in their own territory. After stopping the Jayhawks, Nebraska took an easy 14-0 lead. Next possession Kansas misses the kickoff, runs back and gets it at the 3. Next play safety. 16-0 Nebraska. Kickoff to Nebraska, drive and score. 22-0 Nebraska.

Now on their own 26 yard line with a second remaining in the half, Kansas could have chose to lay down and die. Instead they chose to fight back. Next play 74 yard TD pass with no time remaining in the half. 22-7 Neb. 2nd half, Kansas drives and scores, w/2pt conversion, 22-15 Neb. After a Neb score makes it 28-15, Kansas would score and convert a Nebraska fumble and make it 29-28 Kansas with about 3:00 remaining. Nebraksa would make a strong drive and a 2pt convert to take a 36-29 lead.

Now with 1:30 remaining Kansas would drive and score with 22 seconds remaining, making it 35-34. Without hesitation Kansas goes for the two point conversion. All the receivers were jammed at the line, lots of pressure from the defense, a lob pass goes into a crowd on the 1 yard line.... batted... incomplete...
