First of all, I have decided to end my three month retirement. Thats the whole reason Bill Walsh didn't start Jan 1st. Next I had planned to start the new year with CFL'92, it is a great looking rom. But after further review...
I have decided to start the Bill Walsh Season in February. This means CFL'92 will be put on hold. My logic for that is I didn't want to rush through a CFL'92 season just in order to get to Bill Walsh. Another thing I didn't want to do, was have the Bill Walsh season stretch through the entire winter semester through summer and to the fall semester. That could have caused too much disruption with league members, so I felt it best to start the Bill Walsh season earlier.
Last years season went nearly perfect. A 12 week season, with 2 games per week went nearly flawless. Now when something is not broke, you don't fix it! The only bad thing about last season was that it was too short!!! Otherwise it was perfect. One game a week just wouldn't be enough! Three games or more would be a burden, and make it chore. Two is the number! So with that logic, I initially decided against more than two teams per person. No way I thought, more than two games per week is poop. But 12 weeks of Bill Walsh is not enough either. Well then it dawned on me. A longer schedule?? No. Three teams per person, but with one team per person receiving a bye every week. What this means is two of your teams are on every week, with one off.
Now what this amounts to is 16 weeks of Bill Walsh at 2 games per week, as opposed to last season at 12 weeks, two games per week. Works out pretty good ???
