Who will take the Crown?

Chuck won the last Championship in 1993 with Texas(10-1) when his undefeated #1Ranked Boston College team(9-1-1) lost to Washington State(6-5) in the final week of play and dropped to #2.

This 2nd season of Bill Walsh College Football some 9 years later features two big time bowl games and the possibility of a national championship game.

First in the Orange Bowl we have Big West Champion #3 Kansas(9-3) hosting #4 Stanford(8-4). Kansas started 9-1, while Stanford finished up the season 7-1. The two teams split during the regular season.

In the Fiesta Bowl we have the ECC Champion Pitt Panthers(9-2) hosting the #2 Miami Hurricanes(9-3). Pitt raced to a 7-0 start until getting beat by the same Miami team. Pitt won the 2nd meeting which helped wrap up the Conference title. Miami started 6-1 and was beat up a in the final weeks, but bounced back to beat Clemson in the first round of the playoffs to secure a bowl position.

If Stanford defeats Kansas, Pitt would secure a national championship with a win over Miami. However a Miami win would set up an interesting Miami-Stanford Championship Game

If Kansas defeats Stanford they would await the winner of the Fiesta Bowl. Kansas beat Miami 17-14 this season and lost to Pitt 28-21.
