The first scene begins in the Denny's Restaurant, as several of the cast members sit around the table. It's 7:15pm, and the cast members are Dusty, Dawg, Swift and Derek. | |
This really blows.
Of course it does. I swear to fucking God, I'd love to go a week without sitting in this damn place one day.
Lemme do what I do.. would ya stop?
Oh shut up with that damn Austin Powers bullshit. I'm being serious. Our lives are boring. Alcohol used to help, but now that's even growing old.
We could go to Mary Jo's and watch her be annoyed by Derek.
HAHAHA! That's real funny you dumb fucker.
Can we please go a fucking week without hearing her name?!
So what could we do that is not here and not mentioning Mary Jo?
Yeah, and Dawg can't drink, because then he might get the hots for Brandy.
Shut-up.
Or hit on Shane Burkett's mom.
Shut-up!
Or call and try to get head from that Amanda chick!
SHUT THE HELL UP!
HAHAHA
HAHAHA
HAHAHA
Wait.. that "haunted house" out in Iuka, off Highway 161.
What about it?
We should seriously go there and check it out. SERIOUSLY.
As long as we're not here...
Located at the Bowling Alley, in the bar, is Fenton, sitting and talking to the bartender. Becker walks in. | |
Fenton.. hey.
Hey, what's up?
Fucking nothing. *slams down a couple dollars and yells for a Budweiser*
What's wrong?
It's Claire. For some reason, she is being a bitch. I think she's cheating on me honestly.
Oh bullshit. She likes you a lot, man.
Well I wouldn't fucking know it. *chugs down half of his beer* Women are just cocksucking bitches that...
HAHAHAHA!
WHAT?!
You're funny when you're nostrils flare like that.
*laughs* Shut-up, stupid.
*runs into the bar quickly* Guys, turn on The Channel 6 News. Fucking wicked shit going on!
Fenton flips the bar widescreen onto channel 6, and a news reporter for the St. Louis affiliate speaks. | |
It's 7:30pm, and I'm reporting from a very isolated area of Southern Illinois, known as Iuka, there is an old house that has been rumored to be "haunted." An amazing discovery was found in the road in front of the house this morning. It was the dead body of local resident Danny Urban. He was 67 years old, and farms next door to the house. His cause of death is definitely a mystery, and police are investigating the area.
Becker, isn't that the place all of you guys visited that one time?
Yeah, and we couldn't get in the house. So we hiked down that dirt road along the side of the house. It was creepier than the house.
Didn't you find a little shed or something?
Yeah, looked like someone lived there in the early 1900's or something. Swift found some dress in a closet in there. He threw it in the dirt road and we thought it'd be fucked up if we returned the next night and that dress was back in the closet.
That's be fucked up, dude.
It's a good thing we don't go over there anymore. Must be some psycho out on the loose.
Nah, it's probably the old age that killed him. Maybe he was having sex in the road.
What a dumbass.
You meeting Claire tonight?
Yeah, I have my mom's Cutlass. I have to meet her at the intersection of 161 and 37 about 8 o'clock. Can't be seen in town. Fucking Kim will stalk us.
Hehehe.
What are you laughing about?
Someone told me she thought I was hot or something, I dunno.
Who cares?
Greg would fuck her. You probably could.
Yeah, I would. I actually should call her. Maybe we could go bang in that haunted house.
You wouldn't have the guts to do such a thing.
How much you wanna bet?
I'll fuckin' bet you one hundred dollars you won't do that.
What's her number?
Michelle and Carl turn the news report of the Iuka man's death off at their house at 7:32pm, because Carl has been totally silent since she got off of work. | |
You need to tell me what's wrong.
Nothing.
I know you. When something's really wrong, you become totally silent, and answer every question with one word.
No.
See what I mean? One word.
Whatever.
*becoming frustrated* Carl, why are you such an ass? Can't you just be honest?!
I am being honest, nothing is wrong!
What the fuck ever. *grabs her keys from the table and storms out of the house*
Where are you going?!
*yells from her car as she starts it up and reverses out of the driveway* I'm going to go to that haunted house. Maybe I'll find the killer that can put me out of my misery!
*sits down and begans to cry, as the phone rings* Hello?
Hey Carl. What are you up to?
*wipes tears* Oh, nothing, Amanda.
Michelle there?
She said she weas going to go find the killer so they'd put her out of her misery. She hates me.
She really say that?
About the killer, yeah.
Carl, she's joking. We heard that news report a few hours ago at work and said the same thing after she tripped over everything in the aisle. She's just having a bad day.
Well, I don't know what to do.
I'll get Robert [Plummer], and we will go find her, okay?
Okay, thanks.
Kim, Swift's sister, is at home, and just hangs up the phone. She then dials another number, and speaks to her friend Kisha. | |
Hello?
Hey, bitch.
Shut-up, I just woke up. Not in the mood for fucking around.
Just joking, jesus!
Okay, what cha want?
I can't keep an eye on Becker tonight.
Why?
That hot guy I was telling you about called me, and wants to go cruising tonight.
Who? Craig, or something?
For the thousandth time, Greg!
Fine, fine.
He said he knows of a romantic place in Iuka he wants to take me.
So you called to warn me you're going to call tomorrow and brag about getting some?
That.. and I need you to stake out Becker tonight.
Wow, Greg must be REAL hot then. Becker is your total obsesion.
Not really.. if Greg was THAT great, I wouldn't even worry about Becker. But he doesn't need to be getting jiggy tonight.
Yeah, Becker doesn't need to be happy, at all. That cocksucker. When and where, girl?
Damn, you're such a bitch, I love it.
When and where?
161 and 37, 8pm.
I'll be there.
Bye. *hangs up*
Becker.. he's going to get it tonight. Definitely...
7:53pm, Swift, Dawg, Derek and Dusty all pull off of 161 onto Iuka Rd. They are in Derek's '89 Lincoln Continental. | |
It's a little up here. I can't wait. It's nice and dark now, so we're going to at least add a little excitement to our lives.
Hell yes.
Swift, remember that dress you threw out onto the dirt road?
Yeah.
Well? Remember?
Remember what?!
How fucked up it would be if it was back in the closet in that little house.
Oh yeah, I'd shit my pants, seriously.
I'd cream mine.
Yeah, that was stupid.
All of a sudden, some black figure streaks across the road, causing all four guys to yell out "shit!" Derek swerves around and off roads it. He ramps a ditch and slides through a grass yard, as all four are still yelling. The car finally comes to a stop, in front of the "haunted" house. | |
Oh fuck.
I am so sick of being in wrecks.
I think I did cream my pants this time.
Dude, we are sitting right in front of the house.
Dude, the thing to worry about is what the fuck just ran in front of the car?
All four look at eachother with scared looks on their faces. | |
Time to investigate.
They all step out of the vehicle. Meanwhile, it's is 7:58pm, and Becker pulls his car up besides his girlfriend Claire's '01 Cougar. | |
Hey.
Hey.
Jesus, it sucks having to meet this way.
I know. You know I'd have no problem just saying "screw her."
I know, I know, but I don't trust that bitch. She's psychotic. Somehow she always finds out where I'm at. She probably has a private invesigator keeping an eye on me.
Wouldn't surprise me.
Go ahead and get in, and we can go to the movies in Centralia down the road.
All right.
Claire shuts her car down, locks it up and gets in the car with Becker. They suddenly then hear a blaring horn coming from down the road. The headlights began flashing on and off about a mile down the road, racing towards them. | |
Oh shit!
Oh shit is right, that bitch is fucking insane.
She's never acted like that though. Doesn't she usually just follow us?
Yeah.. I wonder.
He squints his eye at the racing car and notices it is not Kim's. He tries to make out the plates. | |
K. Ki. Kis. Who the.. Kish. Oh my fucking god.
Kisha?!
Yes, she's more psychotic than Kim.
Go!
Dave slams down on the gas and head east on 161, as Kisha's car slides through the parking lot and sideswipes the Cougar. She backs it up, and speeds after Becker and Claire. Meanwhile, at 8:02pm, Michelle turns onto Iuka Rd towards the haunted house. She cruises down and finally sees it. She notices Derek's Lincoln right beside the house in the lawn, with tire marks burnt into the grass. She wonders. | |
I don't like the looks of this.
She turns into the driveway and parks up by the front porch. She steps out and begins to walk around the house. | |
Derek? Oh my God. If I was on any level of sanity I would not be doing this. This'll show Carl to piss me off.
She suddenly hears a noise from behind the house. A faint squeaking noise. Michelle's face fills up with fear, as she continues to walk. She then sees a white Taurus, and the back end is bouncing up and down. | |
What the..?
She then sees a girl's face pressed up against the back glass very roughly, with sweat clinging to the window. | |
Ahhhh!
Michelle turns around to run when a face glares straight into her eyes. | |
Why can't we find that little house? The haunted house is all locked up, now this.
Dawg, Dusty, Derek and Swift have gone down the trail. It's dark, and trees hover over them entirely. The trail is slightly muddy. | |
Does anybody else get the impression that something is just going to leap out and yell...
They suddenly hear Michelle's shrieking from up the road, and all four of them jump in fright so much, they slip in the mud onto their asses. They hurrily get up and take off running towards the house. | |
Ahhhhh!
Michelle, babe, it's only me!
Carl, you idiot, why did you sneak up on me like that!
Excuse me for caring about you. If that makes me an idiot then oh well.
Fuck that, there's someone getting killed around that corner!
What!?
Look around that corner. The girl got slammed up against the back glass. Go! Look!
Just as Carl begins to look around the corner, Becker swerves onto Iuka Rd toward the haunted house, and Kisha spins in just behind him. Just behind Kisha slowly pulls in Plummer, driving Amanda's Ranger with her in the passenger, and they spot a group of cars parked at the house, and worry about the two chasing cars in front of them. | |
Babe, look, people are over there at that house! Go, hurry, we need help!
That's the haunted... what the fuck, Derek's car is up there at the side of the house, and Greg's car is on the other side, and.. bouncing. He's fucking Kim!
Who cares?! Get up there!
I care! I owe him a hundred dollars now!
He swerves into the driveway and sees Michelle's car, with Carl's mom's car parked behind it. He slams on the breaks and slings rocks all over the vehicles. Michelle and Carl run back up front, just as Dawg, Dusty, Derek and Swift run up the trail. They all see Kisha spin into the driveway. They all collect together to see what is happening, when Kisha drives full force toward all of them, and not slowing down at all. | |
Oh fuck!
Oh fuck!
Oh fuck!
Oh fuck!
Oh fuck!
Oh fuck!
Oh fuck!
Oh fuck!
That car is going to hit one of them, Robert!
I know, I'm trying to find my cell phone to call the...
Suddenly, both of them see the same black figure swoosh toward their front glass as they both let out a loud scream. As the front glass of their truck shatters, the eight friends let out a horrifying wail, as Kisha's car makes bone crushing contact... | |
