sexual nation
by jeremy cannon
Take so many days away,
left is the flag that sways.
Stormy nights infest the mideast,
the stars open wide to feast.
And as they tangle and corrupt the sky,
the flag sways with open eye.
Drenched with sweat is the corpse,
street corners packed with whores.
Men in suites in limousines,
women in skirts hired to clean.
The flag sways as the smoke arises,
we're all condensing with no surprises.
Cells of sickos and streets full, too,
whoever's loose is after you.
And try and guess who's going to pay them,
cop and feel, a sexual nation.
