living without the worry (delicate tumbleweed)
by jeremy cannon
Yeah I got laid,
on the same day,
that I got paid,
so give me a break,
I escaped the chains of the other.
Because I got paid,
before I got laid,
and on this very day,
living without the worry.
Thought that the shadows would keep me in,
but I realized it was the very end,
friends are friends so keep it at that,
I'm back and ready to attack.
So she scared me away into a feed,
rolled on by was the delicate tumbleweed.
I followed it home and what did I find,
a bind that was kind to my very mind.
She was the girl who saved me, not too early,
now because of her I'm living without the worry.
Yeah I got laid,
on the same day,
that I got paid,
so give me a break,
I escaped the chains of the other.
Because I got paid,
before I got laid,
and on this very day,
living without the worry.
She is so fine, and she's very mine,
remembered the good times,
now they're gone, bye-bye.
I never saw the point, of missing her,
it was a deep burn that made me learn,
not to trust anyone,
but now I'm having fun,
with someone, and now what I've done,
is not regretted or missed,
for the first time we kissed,
it was bliss as the clock chimed in,
give me a little bit of your loving again.
Yeah I got laid,
on the same day,
that I got paid,
so give me a break,
I escaped the chains of the other.
Because I got paid,
before I got laid,
and on this very day,
living without the worry.
Why did I ever let my eyes miss that delicate tumbleweed?
Traveled through my heart when it was ready to bleed.
She saved me, from stupidity, so now I'll let it be, as she hugs me...
Got laid, got paid, living without the worry,
on this very day, I got a break, getting away from the worry.
Why did I ever let my heart pass that delicate tumbleweed?
Journeyed through my eyes when they couldn't succeed.
She stayed with me, through eternity, so now I'll let it be, as she kisses me...
