entanglement
by jeremy cannon
If only the world wasn't so tough,
it's rough, it leaves me scuffed,
all messed up, and what's missing? Love.
Yeah, I came down from tears,
left blank with all kinds of fears,
yet I still couldn't find joy through the years.
There's a girl here that likes me,
she does this in spite of me,
I don't like thee, as much as she wants it to be.
Sorry, girl, but I was left broken,
without a token, to pass through, I think it got stolen.
The things I experience are amazing.
They're never even, I'm always chasing
after something that's racing,
away from me, but what wants me,
is miles back, and I'm running.
I am so damn awesome it's cunning.
Haha, not, I'm in pure rot,
for what I got, I need to be shot,
or get some kind of blood clot,
then hit me in the same spot,
Then once again, I'll be small like a dot.
With no place to go, nobody sees me,
Then the feds won't have to come and cease me,
for being crazy, and uneasy, but please be
nice to me because the sensitivity is increasing.
I want this one girl, but I don't know to come about,
it just leaves me in the dark, not in but out.
I'm left with things to say, things to do,
but seems to me there's nothing for me but you.
Women, man, don't know how to deal,
so difficult showing them how ya feel,
and when you do your heart squeals,
then it begins to peel, then you don't know what's real,
it's over, and dead, everybody's fed,
up with the whole relationship thing,
from saying "Hello" to that diamond ring.
So some words of wisdom from me?
Forget that, I don't have the experience to see,
anyone's point of views from mine,
I'll just sit back and stare at the time.
