Charges Filed in Connection With Salem Barn Fire The Marion County State's Attorney's Office has filed felony criminal damage to property charges against three people involved in a fire that destroyed a barn. 22-year-old Jeremy Cannon of South Maple in Salem, 20-year-old Janice Spangler of Illinois Street in Alma and 19-year-old Carl Starnes of North Hamilton in Salem are charged with recklessly damaging the barn owned by Thomas Telford on Cross Road south of Salem causing over 300-dollars damage. Marion County Sheriff's Deputies initially arrested the three along with a juvenile for arson---but Assistant State's Attorney Stuart Freeman says felony criminal damage to property charges were filed instead because the group had not planned to have the fire they set in straw to keep warm to burn down the barn. The three were given notices to appear in court for November 19th. Freeman says two others initially arrested for being at the barn before the fire was started will not be charged.

Ever since I got arrested last week, I feel as if I don't really give a shit anymore about anything! And of course, I don't have the money to pay for them because I have my own bills, so they just keep on rolling in! I have to call these places and get them shut off, but now it's too late. In fact, I just got another Illinois Power bill in the mail yesterday, a bill marked "Collection Agency Notice." So I'm screwed! Thanks a whole bunch, whore! Thanks to your stupid ass, I'm in debt up to my eyeballs! And she makes up stories to me like, "I was gonna pay it, but I lost the bill." Well, here's a newsflash, dumbass, take some responsibility and call the fucking company!
