I need a job!

As you maybe already have or maybe will read on my Vita page, I am a trained editor and skilled writer. The downside: I'm not good at nearly everything else. Since being unemployed forces me to literally take any job that gets me off the unemployment list, I fear that my distinguished career as a no-name editor in the background of a small but entertaining newspaper or broadcast is over before it ever began.

I'm a dedicated writer, I write everything from subtitles and transcripts to host notes and newspaper articles. A lot of fantasy and enthusiasm can go into my work. Of course sometimes it's a little less, especially payed commercial articles, also called PR. I'm not really good at that, and that of course limits my range. It's okay to do occasionally, but there's just more fun in writing PR that nobody realizes as PR. Also called "I like it".

My speciality are games, computer games, and not only the ones for PC and consoles and playing them all day and then write down how entertaining they are one day before deadline. Or on deadline. I'm passionate about the social influence of games, about the illegal ways they are used and produced, about the influence of world wide web, youth protection, laws and so on. Of course I am highly interested in presenting games and games related topics on television, as my last job was. Unfortunately, it didn't work out, although I really loved doing it.

Now I'm looking for an opportunity to earn my own money, earn my cost of living and a little bit extra by writing and editing for either a newspaper, a PR company, a television company or distributor or a game developer and promoter. I'm really not too picky, whoever offers me a half-decent job supporting my skill of writing, research and presenting not only in games (or movies), but almost every topic I can think of, I'll be very grateful.

I'm not greedy, a wage that supports my lifestyle, say 2k Euro here or whatever is double rent and insurances in another place, is good for me. I live in Munich but whoever pays half of my moving costs to another location (the other half would be paid by the unemployment agency) can have me about everywhere in the world.

Since I speak English nearly as good as German, I think I could fast be a significant help even in an English speaking country. I also offer my abilities to translate, my vast range of research, my skill on persuing interviews and gathering information on telephone and of course my creativity for plotlines, satirical and ironic approaches as well as criminal and historical happenings.

I will settle for about anything that just feels right, even if it does never make me even wealthy. I got no problem with that. All I ever wanted was creating entertaining facts, entertaining fiction and entertaining presentation to the users, viewers or readers. My loyalty holds to the one who gives me the chance to develop my abilities further on while he profits of my work.
