This would be equivalent to $1130 to $1870 in 1999 terms. It had a 62 in. wheelbase and weighed 245 lb. Early models of the King Midget cars, which were made in the US in kit form for self assembly sold for as little as $100 in 1948, the equivalent of $842 in 1999 terms. |
