| MADAN Worship & Gospel Ministry (MWGM) Historic Foundation The seed of 'MADAN Worship & Gospel Minitry' (MWGM) was planted within the Full Gospel Believers (Mulu Wongel Amaghoch) Church, which is one of the independent and indigenous Petecostal Churches in Ethiopia. Choir was part and parcel of the church's ministry which embraces the "A" and "B" choirs. During 1978, when the church suffered from severe persecution of the Dergue Marxist and Communist regime 1974-1990, young and gifted worhip leaders and singers arose. As juvenile and gifted Christians we have been active communicant minsters at several 'home church/chapel' settings. Fruitfulness of our ministry evidenced in being instruments of blessing and comfort to the people of God. We also caused the formation of the church's third choir "C" in the year 1991, and our group was named Gofa "C" Choir to suite the functional structure of the church. During the next ten years of our ministry in the church, God let us perceive the depth and strategic directions of the vision. At the end of the 10th aniversary of our ministry, the executive committee designed plan of actions which was a turning point that enabled us towards the implementation fo the vision. MWGM was then established on 17-Dec-1999, out of the formerly known Gofa "C" Choir. It was constituted by its 23 members who are convinced in its God-given vision. This Para-church, spiritual and indegenous ministry appealed to the government for registration and was recongnized as a legally registered organization by the govrnment of Ethiopia starting from December 13, 2002.
