1. How would you describe what you are wearing? You tell me. What do you make of the smile that I'm wearing right now? I guess it's just a reflection of the way I feel most of the time.

2. What was your nickname at school? Little Lotta. I think the nickname is still valid...though Big Lotta may be more appropriate today.

3. What colour is Monday? The colour of beginning, the colour of something new, the colour of hope, the colour of setting goals, the colour of taking chances, the colour of excitement, the colour of life itself.

4.Tell us three unknown facts about yourself. Only three? There are a million. Half of these are for me to know and for you to discover...through my performances!

5. Where is the best place to be? In a loved one's heart, sole and mind - forever.

6. If you could make an apology, what would it be? Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I apologize to all those whom I've unknowingly hurt, though I believe that action speaks louder than words.

7. Are you a good liar? I wish I was. That's one thing I can't do convincingly. If I could, I'd have been a far better actress...don't you think?

8. What are the four essential ingredients of love? Communication (not necessarily only verbal), sharing, respecting each other's space and independence, and last but not least - HONESTY!

9. What keeps you sailing in a crisis? I remember the saying "This too will pass." I'm also aware that its totally up to me to come out stronger.

10. What's the weirdest thing you've ever put into your mouth? My foot. I used to do that as a child, and bite off my toenails. And if you're giving me that yuck-what-a-creep look, don't you dare, 'cause Lord Krishna did that too!

11. Tell us three unknown facts about your dad Gemini Ganesan. He's a yoga expert, writes poetry, and has a terrific sense of humor.

12. Tell us about an item of clothing that shaped your identity. Heavy gold tissue Kanjeevaram sarees.

13. What has been the most memorable telephone call of your life? Heavens! The one call I got from Breach Candy which informed me that my friend had been revived. I remember collapsing on my knees and thanking God. I still do thank him for that.

14. What won't you joke about? Never at someone else's expense, but always at myself. I have the ability to laugh even in my most trying times

15. Is God inside-us or outside-us? I believe GOD is us. Inside-out and outside-in.

16. What first attracts you to a man? His honest natural self and his unique personality. I've yet to find this kinda guy though. Don't know if such a guy really exists.

17. Describe the way you woo a man? Excuse me, wooing is a man's job. It's a woman's adhikar to be wooed.

18. What's the recent bit of gossip you've heard? Gossip? Now that's one word that doesn't exist in my dictionary. You're asking the right person the wrong question.

19. Does the body rule the mind or does the mind rule the body? In my case, my mouth rules my body and my heart rules my mind.

20. Quote a song lyric that truly means something to you. Waqt ne kiya kya haseen sitam. Tum rahe na tum...hum rahe na hum.

21. What do you think about facial hair? Well, I'm lucky I don't have to worry about that...but for those women who do, remember bleaching is bad...try washing your face with channe ka atta and nimbu with malai. As for men, I don't think a beard is sexy. That's my personal opinion.

22. What's the cutest thing about you? Used to be my Pisty - now it's Bhaiyyu, my little tomcat.

23. What are you most terrified about being remembered for? I don't think about that...as long as I remember not to terrify anyone I love! That's all that matters.

24.Were we made this way or did we become this way? I believe we're all part of the Creator but it's really up to us to create miracles and surprise "him" pleasantly so that he's say "Wow!"

25. Which book have you read most often? Conversations by God by Neale Donald Walsch.

26. If you were allowed to write one letter to whom and about what would that letter be? I've always wanted to write to Oprah Winfrey and thank her for being herself. She is truly a living example of how one person can make a difference to this world and make it a better place.

27. Do angels exist? You must be blind not to be able to see one right here in front of you. I believe that angels come in different forms even in the garb of the devil...if only we could see through the exterior and feel that angelic presence.

28. If you could change one thing about your own body, what would that be? Well, that's history now. But since you ask...my hips...that's one aspect of being a South Indian that I'm not proud of.

29. Talk us through your worst date. What date, the date of what?

30. Have you been cheated upon? If a rose is a rose, then a man is a man... is a cheater man!

31. Which website do you visit often? I wish it was Oprah.com. Sorry, but I'm not computer savvy yet.

32. What's your reaction when you first here about scams? Ah! So what else is new...like the rich get richer and the poor get poorer...genuine people get more sincere and the corrupt became more corrupt!

33. When did you last feel utterly insignificant? I don't think I've ever felt insignificant. The very fact that I've been snowed under by love all my life proves that there's some significance to my life.

34. Do you have a recurring dream? I used to keep dreaming that I'm a court dancer in the olden times...but that's stopped!

35. The best meal you've ever had? Anything and everything my mom made. The taste of her palaharams still lingers.

36. Do you have it within you to kill someone? But of course...I've killed many of my loved ones with my love. Also, I'm told that my looks are capable of killing people softly.

37. What's the worst aspect of being an actor? That you can never give your best performance in your entire career. By the time you've really learnt your craft, it's too late...at least in this country. Sad but true.

38. What's the best way to say goodbye? The best way to say it is to not say it at all: Woh afsana jise anjaam tak lana na ho mumkin, use ek khubsoorat mod dekar chhodna behtar.

39. Which TV show do you never miss? Oprah. Oprah. Oprah! What else is worth watching.. well except KBC?

40. When did you last laugh till you cried? Every time I watch Candid Camera, I laugh till my tears run dry.
