Aaron
Sousa: Director Watch
as Aaron strikes a sultry pose for the camera! What a tease. He may not be
an underwear model for Calvin Klein but he sure wishes he was! Actually
he'd probably prefer to be a model for the Gap, think of all the free
clothes Aaron! |
Anthony Pereira:
Writer/Director Is
it a dog impersonation, or is he choking on something. He always seems to
be choking on something, or putting things up his nose... what a guy. |
|

Left
To Right: Melissa Martins as Dora, Jen Devine as Kristin, Valerie Silveira
as Marcy, Dave Mika as Rick and Victor Ferreira as Alex. A
picture of one of our blocking rehearsals (note the unpainted set pieces).
It may look really bad here, but I assure you it is actually somewhat
better. Really. I'm not even kidding. I'm not. |

A
bad picture of Patrick Riso's leg, maybe Monica Skorupski's butt, and
possibly Jen Devine's ear. |
|

Dave
Mika as Rick Dave
is the perfect guitar playing subway hobo in his role as Rick, the guitar
playing subway hobo. Many a time during our run on our own stage did
someone interrupt the show by yelling "Yeah Mika!" From the
audience. |

Dianna
Thoms: Lighting Improvisationalist (Technician) Many
a time did Aaron Sousa yell, "THERE ARE NO RED LIGHTS IN THIS
PLAY," unaware that Anthony had directed Dianna to use Red with
reckless abandon. Oh the joys of co-direction! By the way, Anthony got his
red lights, the writer always wins, always. |

One
of two dogs that wandered into the school before a rehearsal when Kristin
Izsak, Anthony Pereira, and Aaron Sousa were skipping last period. I mean
studying in the Library... Anthony named the dogs Tanzerian Thunder, and
Tanzerian Lightning. |

Valerie
Silveira as Marcy and Victor Ferreira as Alex Here
Victor strikes one of his very many undirected Dramatic poses. It took a
lot of sarcastic direction from Aaron and finger pointing and mocking from
his peers, but finally Victor has almost nearly kind of dropped his habit
of bad over dramatic acting. |
Jen Devine as Kristin
Not just a very talented actress, but
also dating the Writer/Director, Anthony Pereira. Sounds like a Hollywood
Cinderella Story doesn't it?
|
Kristin Izsak as Gameshow Girl 3 and The
Secretary
This picture was taken just before the
dogs ran into the school. When she saw Tanzerian Thunder and Lightning
Kristin promptly called Animal Control, to learn to her amazement, that we
had to control the animals ourselves, then they would come and pick them
up. Way to go bureaucracy!
|
Lindsay Gray as The Narrator
Lindsay is always entertaining people
with her Hungarian Grandmother impersonation. "Back in old country,
we don't celebrate Thursday." I'm still laughing, literally. I mean literally.
Don't get me started, don't even get me started. Literally.
|
Monica Skorupski as Gameshow Girl 2 and
Crissy La Rue
You must think Monica is totally not
photogenic, with the picture of her butt above and this picture with her
eyes closed, but I assure you she is photogenic. She may be uncoordinated,
dull, not photogenic, and a communist, but I assure you she is not from
Long Island.

Tim Best (Below) and Lisa Hadden (Above)
These two fine members of the Stage Crew
are thoroughly involved in this year's Sear's Drama Festival. As well as
their Crew work in "Mad Transit" Lisa stars in
"Wrecked" as an alcoholic mother, and Tim is part of the
"Wrecked" Stage Crew.
|
Valerie Silveira as Marcy
Val gave us quite the scare back in
February when we performed "Mad Transit" on our own stage at St.
Benedict. A week before the show Val got bronchitis and completely lost
her voice. It was so bad, we had our Stage Manager, Leanne Best begin
learning Val's lines. Luckily, Val got better in time for the show and her
voice was as strong and forceful as ever. Unfortunately, Leanne never got
to make her acting debut. Oh well, there's always next season.
