�12 / 18, 10:45pm. Subject male. Age unknown, race unknown, cause of primary death unknown, cause of secondary death explosive trauma. Massive mutations caused by afore mentioned reanimation. Shrapnel wounds all over body, but otherwise subject is in excellent condition.�

�Mutations most prevalent in the cranial area. Bone structure has been warped to accommodate for larger eyes and teeth, nasal passage has shrunken significantly in return. Closer inspection of the eyes show they are indeed lidless.�

�Other, lesser deformities include abnormal muscles growth around shoulders, regardless of decay. The skin seems loose and rubbery in constancy. Any visible luminosity associated with reanimation has ceased.�

�Proceeding with internal investigation...�

�...Two, organs of some sort, have grown inside the chest cavity while the rest of the organs have rotted completely away, leaving only a thick, black, and putrid sludge. These organs are of completely of unknown origin, but they seems to contain the same glow of the animated subjects...�

�Attempting to extract 10ccs of fluid for further study...�

[moaning, scream]

�Good lord! Luminosity returning to subject! He�s not dead yet!�

[growling noises, sounds of instruments hitting the floor, gun shots]

Luminescents are zombie that can fit into any dead world, but world especially well in one where it get very dark at night. Inspired by the black out of �03, there are a few things that separate Luminescents from other zombies.

First of all, while dead, these zombie rarely resemble the traditional walking corpse. Instead their reanimation works to change their body in very significant ways. The eyes of a luminescent are huge and black, taking up a full one third of their head, with a small white pupil in the center of each eye. It goes without saying that the sight of these zombies has greatly increased.

Their teeth, too, have changed. As the newly risen zombie �grows� into it�s new form, the old teeth fall out and are replaced by new serrated teeth two rows deep.

Still, the most stunning mutation is the ones the zombies are named for. These zombies glow, putting off a neon glow that�s very visible during the night time hours.

Luminescent (Power -10)

Simply put, a zombie with the luminescent aspect glows in the dark. The light produced from the zombie is bright enough to clearly make it out from up to ten meters away, and will provide good lighting within an area of ten feet. The glow could be chemical, biological, or radiological in origin.
