Player Cost Formula
Here's Jervis Johnson's cost formulas for players. We follow this when we make Generated Star Players (under miscellaneous rules section) for our teams and I used it as a guide when we made new players for each team roster.
Starting Value
All models start with 5 points, to which is added the following:
Movement
MA 2 = -4; MA 3 = -3; MA 4 = -2; MA 5 = -1; MA 6 = 0; MA 7 = +2; MA 8 = +3
Strength
+/- ((St-3) * 3)
plus a further 3 points if the ST > 3
plus yet another 3 points if ST > 6
Agility
+/- ((AG-3) * 2)
Armour
AV 6 = -3; AV 7 = -2; AV8 = 0; AV9 = 1; AV 10 = 3
Skills and things
+2 per skill/ mutation. Some skills and skill combos may cost more, such as block costing 3 or 4 points.
Cost in GPS
If the points value is 10 or less, then the player value is:
GPS = pts * 10K
If the points value of the player is 11 or more, then the player value is:
GPS = 100K + ((points - 10) * 5K)
