Prologue

Twenty thousand years ago when the Earth was in it's 20th century, something went wrong. Terribly wrong.

An evil being so great had been unleashed from its prison. Finally after two centuries it has been freed. The evil being had been imprisoned two centuries ago by a man, no teenager. For the teenager had only been eighteen. The being resembled a man. A man in his late twenties with silver hair and red piercing eyes. The man's name was Tomosei and he was the son of the devil. The only one to have ever been able to stand up to him was the teenage boy that locked him up. Ranken.

Ranken had been a handsome boy of eighteen, raven hair styled in a short pigtail and blue-gray eyes. Ranken had not been able to destroy Tomosei but he succeeded in placing him in a prison that would not be broken easily. After imprisoning Tomosei he sent the prison to the farthest regions of space, far away from Earth. Farther than Pluto and much farther. Tomosei had been trapped in that prison for two centuries, unable to do anything.

Until now.

Tomosei was free at last. He was also raging mad. Mad at the teenage boy who trapped him for two centuries. He destroyed the planet from which his prison had been thrown to. He also destroyed his surroundings. Countless galaxies had been destroyed, abolished, turned into dust. Then he turned to his next target.

Earth.

After being released from his prison, the Earth has never been the same. Nothing has. The Earth was no longer so ignorant of life beyond Earth. Old wizened philosophers feared that one day, Tomosei and his evil followers would soon destroy the Earth and all it's allies. Still, there was still hope. From an old scroll, there was a prophecy. One day there will be a young man, the incarnation of Ranken, who will save the Earth. Along with his allies, the young man shall once again defeat Tomosei and this time destroy him forever. It was his moirai and no one, not even Tomosei, could stop him from receiving his destiny.

"Aw, man...this isn't fair. How come you guys get to visit Venus?" A young man, seventeen years old, whined.

His best friend, a beautiful brunette with long hair tied in a white bow, shook her head exasperated. "Because, Mousse and I have actually gotten GOOD grades and pay ATTENTION in class. You on the other hand.."

"Fall asleep all the time." Another young man finished for her. His friend grumbled and crossed his arms. Mousse snickered. "C'mon, Ranma. You know it's true. You fall asleep in his class everyday."

The pigtailed boy glared at his longhaired friend. Mousse had long black hair that was slightly pass his shoulders. He wore a thick pair of glasses and his trademark white Chinese robes. "Fine! That still doesn't make this any fun for me. I have to be stuck here, in this shabby house for a whole week without anyone to talk to!"

"Don't be like that Ranchan...I'm sure you'll do fine without us for one measly week." She giggled at Ranma's antics and continued to pack her clothes. She was wearing a white t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. "I'll even buy you a pair of those Chinese shirts you like to wear." He seemed slightly appeased but was still pouting.

"And I'll add in a pair of new braces and slippers for you. Happy?" Ranma nodded. He was wearing a red sleeveless Chinese shirt and black kung fu pants. He had over a dozen of those. On his arms was a pair of black braces.

"Ucchan, Mousse, promise me you won't have TOO much fun." Ukyou and Mousse nodded.

"Sure." Mousse grinned. "We won't have TOO much fun. Just A LOT!"

"Hey!" Ranma yelled as he leaped out of his chair to tackle the Amazon boy. "Get here you!"

"If you can catch me slow poke!"

"That's MY line!"

"Whatever." (1)

Ukyou sighed as she leaned against Mousse. "Can you believe Ranchan's reactions? He's acting as if he will die without us or something." She blinked confused when Mousse didn't laugh as she thought he would.

"Maybe, maybe not. You know that we are the only people he has left. After what happened to Mr. and Mrs. Saotome... He treats us like his real siblings, not that I am complaining.. After being exiled by the Amazons, Ranma was kind enough to bring me to his home and become my brother." Mousse sighed softly as Ukyou hugged him.

"Mousse.. I know what you mean..Ranchan is something else.. He really is.. If it weren't for him then I would probably have died on the road from starvation and cold after those monsters killed my parents. If it weren't for him...then I wouldn't have met you." Ukyou blushed slightly as Mousse grinned handsomely at her. He kissed her softly on the cheek. (2)

"Yeah, that would have been a great loss, wouldn't it?" She nodded blushing. "You are so cute like that Ucchan.."

Ukyou and Mousse were holding hands when a tall brunette stopped them. Ukyouu blinked in confusion as she took in the woman's appearance. She had long brown hair tied in a white ribbon and wore a white dress. She looked to be around nineteen or twenty years old.

"Do you need any help?" Mousse asked.

"No and yes. I don't need any help but this whole planet does. Akane is planning to destroy this planet and you need to stop her." The woman told them, her beautiful face filled with worry.

Ukyou stared at her slightly suspicious. "How do you know this and who are you?"

The brunette frowned slightly. "I can not tell you how I know this but you must trust me. I am Kasumi and if you don't stop her now then this planet will cease to exist!" (3)

Mousse placed his hand on his girlfriend's shoulder. "I trust her Ucchan. There is something about her that tells me that she isn't lying."

Ukyou nodded her head; she trusted Mousse and his judgment.

"Okay, so where is this Akane..?" They stared confused as Kasumi some how disappeared. All that was left that proved she wasn't some illusion was a note on the ground. The note said:

Thank you for believing in me, someday you will know how I know Akane is planning to attack Venus. She will be attacking from her spaceship and will start firing at the Central Park. Go quickly please.

Kasumi

Ukyou shook her head. "Well, I guess we better get going." Mousse nodded his head.

Ranma grinned as he looked through his photo album. He had just been kidding when he whined about his two friends leaving. He was actually glad that they were leaving, they deserved some quality time alone. He snickered. Ah, he just hoped that Mousse didn't get on Ucchan's bad side. When they were young he would often mistake very..ahem... unpleasant (Mousse looks at an old dried up mummy and comments, "Wow Ucchan, you sure got some wrinkles! Maybe you shouldn't eat so much!") stuff for her and she was not happy. She told him rather..calmly.. (Ucchan takes out her big spatula and yells, "DIE!!") Ahem..

He stopped smiling as he noticed something very wrong with their pictures. It was one of his favorites. They were actually all together to take the picture and his two friends had behaved. (4) The ominous thing about the picture was that his two friends were currently flickering. Fast.

Something is wrong.. Are they in danger?

Ukyou's eyes darted back and forth. "Where do you suppose she is?"

Mousse was about to shake his head when he sensed an energy build up. "Over there." Ukyou glanced up and, with her unique vision, saw a long blue haired girl gathering energy into her palms.

Ukyou growled softly, "Akane!"

"Ucchan, I think that she is going to destroy this planet with one big blast. Her powers are very similar with yours so you should be able to stop her blast from reaching this planet." Ukyou nodded as she dropped her suitcase to the ground.

She closed her eyes as she brought her hands in front of her. Her figure started to glow orange-red as she started floating off the ground. When she snapped open her eyes, her warm brown turned as red as the aura that surrounded her.

Mousse took his eyes away from his girlfriend as he glanced at the evil Akane. Akane had now gather a VERY large fireball and seemed very ready to unleash it. "Uhh..not that I want to rush you Ucchan but ... HURRY UP!!" He immediately regretted his words as Ukyou gave him a fiery glare. "Hehehe...take your time..I'm not rushing you..hehe.."

To his relief Ukyou ignored him and concentrated on her counter attack to Akane's. She bursted into flames as she started gathering a fireball that rivaled the one Akane made.

Mousse could hear the blue-haired girl's yell with his sensitive hearing even though she was currently in space and on her spaceship.

"DIE!!"

He glanced at Ukyou, his eyes wide. "UKYOU!!"

"Got it covered, hon."

Mousse breathed a sigh of relief. He glanced back at the maniac Akane and quickly whipped out a pair of prescript sunglasses. He was just barely able to place the dark glasses on his face before his girlfriend and Akane fired off their fire beams. The sky turned bright orange as the two's beams affected the sun's wavelength. He could see that they were even, both of their beams meeting at the middle in space. Neither one was larger.

Then he noticed it.

Akane smirked as she took out a crystal from her subspace. He gasped, knowing what it was. A fire amplifier. Ukyou couldn't possibly be able to hold off her beam now!

"Mousse." Hearing the distress in his girlfriend's tone, he knew that she knew too.

Something was terribly wrong and it just got worse. Ranma's brows furrowed as Mousse and Ukyou's bodies started fading and flickering faster. And faster.

It was omen, a very bad one.

"Don't just stand there! Stop her!"

He gaped at Ukyou. "How?"

"Baka! Use your gravitation powers! I know you can use them to immobilize her!" Mousse flinched as she growled at him. He WAS a baka.

He laughed nervously under her heavy glare and placed his hand on his forehead. "RESTRAIN!"

"Haha..Argh!" Akane stumbled but still maintained her attack. Her dark brown eyes turned hard as she cursed the blind boy mentally. T-that &#&@# MOUSSE!! Those @#$$#%@ think they're so great, they're nothing compared to Tomosei's great power. She had been so close; so close to using the amplifier to help finally get rid of those pests.

Then he just had to use his powers and freeze her! That %&$@! Her black outfit ruffled as her anger fueled her beam.

She would get them, one way or another. (5)

"Good job hon!" Mousse blushed slightly at Ukyou's beautiful smile. Kawaii, he thought.

"Now to finish her off.." With Akane not able to use the amplifier Ukyou was much more confident. Her confidence and love for Mousse served as an amplifier and her beam tripled.

"DIE!"

Akane's eyes widened at the sight of Ukyou's beam increasing and gaining MUCH larger than hers was.

Was this the end?

Ukyou was about to let out a shout of joy when a body suddenly appeared out of no where and grabbed Akane.

"Darn! That Ryouga jerk saved her again!" Ukyou frowned as Akane's spaceship exploded.

Mousse placed his hand on her shoulder. "At least she didn't get to destroy this planet."

Ukyou nodded. "Yeah.."

Ranma couldn't stand it anymore. He grabbed his clothes quickly and stuffed them into his training pack. Something was happening to his best friends and he wasn't going to just sit here and wait for them!

He slammed the door shut, leaving his home. He didn't see the pictures of his two friends solidify. He didn't notice his picture stop being solid and...

Start flickering.

End Prologue.

(1) Mousse may seem out of character but his history is a lot more different and hanging around with Ranma could change ANYONE.

(2) Now I know what you are thinking, Mousse and UKYOU? Hey..it COULD happen.

(3) Kasumi you ask? Why is she not with her sister? Why is she telling Ukyou and Mousse to stop her SISTER? Well.. that's a secret!

(4) Behaved. They may be dating but when growing up with RANMA you know they are bound to have some..ahem.. less than proper actions... *thinking* (Ukyou trying to brain Mousse with her spatula, Mousse pulling Ranma's shirt trying to CONVINCE him to save him.)

(5) I may be against Ranma/Akane pairs but before you flame me for portraying Akane as an evil witch let me tell you this..all will be explained later. How she got to be on Tomosei's side and Ryouga. Okay? Okay!
