Jimmy: Hello everyone! I'm Jimmy Lin.
Fan     : Do you have a girlfriend?
Jimmy: Nope at the moment. In future, I'll surely have one.
Fan     : What are you doing right now in China? Filming?
Jimmy: I'm filming for a commercial in Hainan Island.
Fan     : How do you find the food in China?
Jimmy: I'm able to adapt to the food here. It's also about the same as that in Taiwan, not much difference. I feel that there
              are more spicy food here in Hainan Island.
Fan     : What type of food do you like most in China?
Jimmy: I like food that are not spicy or sour.
Fan     : Among all the movies you've starred, which is your favourite?
Jimmy: Shaolin Popeye is my favourite and also Grandpa's Love which I like a lot.
Fan     : Why didn't you continue with the 2nd part of Lu Xiao Feng? I like your mustache in the show.
Jimmy: Due to the inability to fit into my time schedule, I'm not able to continue. I find it a waste too especially when
              everyone had got along so well. It's a good thing that everyone likes the show.
Fan     : Do you have an e-mail account?
Jimmy: Yes, I have.
Fan     : How do you find working with Tao Hong and Christopher Lee?
Jimmy: This time, LXF is the most special. Basically, this LXF is a young and flirtatious swordsman. He is different from
              the one people used to watch. I like this role very much because he is a very humourous character, I'm also very
              fond of cracking jokes. It's mostly martial arts in the show, moreover, LXF is very strong in his martial arts. I'm
              very happy when filming this drama, and there are also many good actors and actresses like Tao Hong, Christopher
              Lee and Theresa Lee. Everyone had a great time.
Fan     : What's your impression of Tao Hong?
Jimmy: I'm very happy to work with her. She's very easygoing. Her performance is very good too, very lovable. Everyone
              likes her and enjoys working with her.Christopher Lee is from Singapore. At first, I thought he's a cold person but in
              the end, he turned out to be a very humourous guy.
Fan     : Do you have any plans of coming to Shanghai this year?
Jimmy: Next week, I'll be going there to film a drama.
Fan     : Which one?
Jimmy: Hua Yang Nian Hua
Fan     : TV version of HYNH?
Jimmy: Yup.
Fan     : What kind of role will you be portraying?
Jimmy: I'll be acting as a journalist.
Fan     : Have you ever give a thought of what you want to do next? Or which one you will concentrate more, is it singing or
              acting?
Jimmy: I think I'll give both equal concentration, just like other than starring in LXF, I'm also singing for the theme song.
              No matter if it's acting or singing, I'll still continue with both. This year, there's also plans for a concert but it's still
              under planning.
Fan     : When will it be held?
Jimmy: I'm still not sure about it yet.
Fan     : Do you think you and LXF are similar in some ways?
Jimmy: I feel that we're alike in certain areas. He is a righteous person, busybody as he is full of curiosity. I'm also a very
              curious person and also righteous, therefore these are some areas we're both alike. While portraying this role, there
              isn't much difficulty.
Fan     : If you have to act as a bad guy which you will succeed in this role but it may affect your image, will you still do it?
Jimmy: Actually, I've always wanted to try this type of role as I think acting as the bad guy is a challenge. Also he can have
              2 types of personalities. On the surface, he seems to be a good person but on the other side, he's a killer, doing bad
              things. I like this kind of role.
Fan     : Can you describe your dream girl?
Jimmy: I don't have any preferences on her looks or image but most importantly, she must have a kind heart and filial. With
              these, I'm satisfied.
Fan     : Who is your favourite female star?
Jimmy: They're all good. I don't have any preferences.
Fan     : Can you talk about your own personality?
Jimmy: I'm a very optimistic person. I'm able to see things with an open heart rather than restricting myself. I feel that as
              long as I'm living happily, everything's alright.
Fan     : Which one do you prefer? LXF or Xiao Yu Er?
Jimmy: I feel that these 2 give me different feelings. Because Xiao Yu Er is very playful, burdened with heavy
              responsibilities (he has to seek revenge for his parents) and his martial arts is not as strong as LXF. LXF is more
              matured. Moreover, he's a swordsman. Among these 2 roles, they have different styles but I were to choose, I feel
              that LXF is better.
Fan     : What's your secret to your success?
Jimmy: I feel that I haven't succeed yet. Everyone has to work very hard to achieve what they want and shouldn't mind
              committing for it.
Fan     : As you like car racing, which brand of car do you like?
Jimmy: Actually, I think it doesn't matter what brand of car you're using in car-racing. Most importantly is your own skills
              and the track. You just have to face it calmly, it doesn't matter on the brand. To me, car-racing is a kind of training.
Fan     : Are you and Alec Su friends?
Jimmy: Alec and I have been working in this line for a long time, releasing albums, working together in JDSJ. He and I are
              good friends.
Fan     : Are you satisfied of the image created for LXF?
Jimmy: I had put in a lot of effort in this role and I'm very satisfied of my own performance. As for the audience, I guess
              you all will have to judge for yourself.
Fan     : Do you use the internet often?
Jimmy: I go online everyday. If I don't, I'd feel very odd. No matter where I go or how tired I am, I still make an effort
              to go online. Because of the internet, I'm able to communicate with others thus I go online everyday.
Fan     : Do you have your own website?
Jimmy: There are many that are created by my fans. There's one called "Xiao Zhi Le Yuan" (Jimmy's playground-Taiwanese

Fan     : You are so handsome. Is it because you eat a lot of ice-cream?
Jimmy: Is there such a good thing? Everyone will eat ice-cream then. =oD
Fan     : Which star from China do you like?
Jimmy: They are all not bad. Tao Hong is also good.
Fan     : Do you prefer to film in China or Taiwan?
Jimmy: Different experience. In China, there are many beautiful scenery and is so much better compared to Taiwan. China
              also has a lot of resources while it is limited in Taiwan. Filming in China is better.
Fan     : What kind of roles are you preparing to act in your next movie or drama?
Jimmy: Since I like car racing, of course I'd like to act in some car racing movies or detective movies.Actually, LXF is also
              something like an ancient detective with strong martial arts. Hope everyone will like it.

Fan     : What do you think of your hairstyle?
Jimmy: The more natural, the better. It doesn't need to be coloured. I think natural is most important.

Jimmy: Actually, I think it's different as different places have its special points. I believe I have many fans in China and there
              are many TV stations and lots of resources. Of course I won't stick to one place but I will move around.
Fan     : When you're working with Alec, is there any pressure?
Jimmy: I don't think there is any pressure. I just hope to do my best in every part of my job which ismost important, and I
              won't give myself too much pressure.
Fan     : Do you like singing or acting?
Jimmy: I like both.
Fan     : When will you release your new album?
Jimmy: During the summer holidays.
Fan     : Do you like Jin Yong's works (author of swordfighting novels)?
Jimmy: Yes. I watched many shows and the description of every character is very well done.
Fan     : How do you rate your acting skills?
Jimmy: I think maybe 80, and I still need to improve on it
Fan     : The rate of you releasing an album is rather slow. I suggest you release 2 per year.
Jimmy: I'll try but I think the music company has their own plans. Every singer would like to release 2 per year but at the
              moment, the piracy problem is too serious, thus I hope everyone wouldn't buy pirated CDs. If everyone support
              original CDs, there's even possibilities of releasing 3 albums a year, so I hope everyone would buy original CDs.
Fan     : Will you dye your hair red?
Jimmy: I've never thought about it yet.
Fan     : Do you like to play PC games?
Jimmy: Yes.
Fan     : Which is your favourite game?
Jimmy: Right now, I'm playing DF game.
Fan     : Will you be working with Shi Xiao Long and Hao Shao Wen again?
Jimmy: I'm not very sure. It'll depends on the arrangements done by the company. But I'm interested in working with them
              again.

Jimmy: Yup, I know.
