| This few days, Jimmy is still in Taiwan rest- ing, but lately, he was invited to become a ambassador for the police to encourage pe- ople especially teens against taking ecstacy pills. So these few days, he will carry out the promotion for this event. This morning, there is a carnival and concert and Jimmy will be performing. During the press conference, Jimmy appea- red wearing the police uniform and got his hair cut short specially for this event as well as for his police role in his upcoming movie, therefore looking radiant and fresh. However, privately he said that actually he hasn't been eating very well. Given a rice set, after eating half of it, he felt full already. When he went out for meals and had beef steak, he couldn't finish the whole thing. Even in his sleep, he couldn't sleep soundly due to his empty stomach,and had to wake up in the middle of his sleep to stuff himself with bread before he can go back to sleep again. After knowing this, his manager deci- de to push the date of the filmings back sli- ghtly more to allow Jimmy more time to rest. (28/10/2000) |

| JIMMY'S BIRTHDAY BASH |
| Jimmy held his Bday bash at DV8 restaurant and it was suppose to only hold 150 fans but in the end, it had to squeeze in more than 400 fans who appeared for the party. Jimmy appeared and the colours he wore were mainly black and red. He even highlig- hted his hair red saying that red is his lucky colour which is why his career has been very smooth-sailing. He wore a black t-shirt and red jacket and black pants with red stripes at the sides. Asked whether he wore red underwear as well, he smiled,"It's a secret." Other than his fans, his father, younger brother, his manager, Xia Yu Shun, whom he regards as his god father, and even his god father's 70yr father came to celebrate for Jimmy. The bash was hosted by fellow collegue under the same managing company, Ji Qin. Everyone was having a great time and Jimmy playfully dragged his manager up to stage to sing with him. Jimmy's father even disclosed that 26 years ago, this day was the day when he felt mo- st anxious and happy. It's because Jimmy was born prematurely. When he got news that Jimmy's mother was in labour, he rushed home, disregarding the traffic lights and rules to reach his wife. At this point, Jimmy said,"No wonder I love car racing so much." When Jimmy's father opened the door, he saw little Jimmy lying on the carpet of the living room, and his hands and legs were moving very actively. He was very happy wh- en little Jimmy revealed his 2 cute dimples. This year, Jimmy received many presents mainly model cars from his fans. As it is well known that Jimmy loves cars, a group of his good friends join hands to buy him a "Sm- art" car as his present. However, they only paid the first instalment and Jimmy will have to pay the rest. But Jimmy didn't mind about it and was very happy as he said it's the thoughts that count. His manager also prepared a huge Bday cake for him. Jimmy's birthday wish was that everyone would stay healthy as he felt that health is the most important thing. Without health, you can't achieve success. Soon, Jimmy will head for HK to film a movie and there are plans for Jimmy to film in Hollywood movies thus in the next 2 years Jimmy would head for America quite often to learn English so as prepare for his bright future. |
