| Plan To Start Family After 35, Currently Concentrating On Acting |
| Sharing about his plans in his ent- ertainment career for the coming future, Jimmy surely hope that one day, he'll have the chance to put h- is two interests together, that is to film a movie with a theme on car r- acing. "Even if it requires stunts or sudden braking in front of the ca- mera, I can perform them on my own." However when the topic wa- s brought into his lovelife, that kind of enthusiasm don't seem to sho- w in him. Jimmy felt that the age f- or him to start a family is more pr- obably after the age of 35. His fat- her, Lin De Xiong nodded his hea- d and added, "By then, he would not race again, so his wife need not worry." Yesterday, Jimmy once again took up the responsibility as the traffic ambassador. Since he started ou- t, he had been the ambassador of many public campaigns such as recycling, against illegal racing, anti-drug, fire-fighting, emergency first aid, etc and became the best ambassador for public campaign- s for the Taipei government. Although many artistes are intere- sted in car racing events, very few would go into car racing as a care- er, and Jimmy is one of the rare n- umbers. Starting from assembling model cars, winning in remote co- ntrolled car races in elementary s- chool, till now, he has received co- mpanies' sponsors to be a car ra- cer. He has a never ending history |

Consequently filming in roles th- at others had ever portrayed, Jim- my felt that though the performa- nce would be affected, with a ca- st of a different period and the dif- ferent production surroundings, as long as he's able to perform well, he's not afraid of being co- mpared. | Jimmy's Girlfriend, Be Prepared For Marriage |
| Yesterday, Jimmy and Taipei City Mayor, Ma Ying-jeou appe- ared in a press conference for an event to care for the safety of elderly pedestrians. Bringing up about the matter of being c- aught by paparazzi where Jim- my and Ruby were being follo- wed when they met for meals, he explained that actually there were still other friends around, but only he and Ruby were cau- ght on film, which made him fe- lt rather helpless. Moreover, it was him who first realised that someone was following them, and he had went forward to st- op, then did the paparazzi left embarrassedly, but unexpecte- dly, they were still being caught on film. Fortunately it didn't cau- se much inconvenience to his other friends. Jimmy said that Ruby and him know each other too well, so it is impossible that they could t- urn from friends to a couple. T- he last meeting with Ruby was a coincidence. She had return- ed back to Taiwan that period of time, and he had also ended his work in China. Then was S- ARS problem going on so both of them still remained in Taiw- an and just arranged to meet up with a group of other friends to have a meal together. Currently, his time is given to h- is entertainment and car racing career. Jimmy expressed that he would build a stable career first before starting a family. He wants to look up to his father, plan on marriage after reaching 35. Although he's not against b- eing with someone in the ente- rtainment circle, right now, he wants to find a suitable party w- ho would be prepared to look into marriage, a long term relat- ionship and being able to acce- pt his interest and work. He wo- uld need more time to find suc- h a partner. But currently, his schedule is all filled with work and car races. Next week, he |
| would be heading for Chang C- hun to take part in a racing eve- nt, thus he won't have the time to think about relationship for the time being. The filming work for TLBB had ended and will be broadcast in China in October. Taiwan would only air after the show has com- pleted showing in China. Follo- wing on, Jimmy would be invol- ve in a China produced movie, "Feng Wu Long Fei". Within wh- ich Jimmy would portray as a dancing instructor, and there w- ill be a love story with the lead actress, thus it would seem ch- allenging. This film will also be taking part in the Cannes Film Festival. And in the remake of Chu Yen-pin's movie,'7 Wolves', Jimmy would also take up the role which Dave Wang used to play. His manager, Xia Yu-shun said laughingly that Director C- hu wanted Jimmy to choose his role, and he chose Dave Wan- g's character if it wasn't becaus- e there was a scene of him car racing in the film. Although Jim- my doesn't have the coldness of Dave Wang based on their appearance, Jimmy being in th- is line for so many years with h- is experiences and trainings, he has accumulated some ser- iousness and maturity in him. Jimmy seems fated with cars in his life, and actually this is not his first time being an ambass- ador for such kind of campaign events. As long as it's a public community activity, his father w- ould accompany him to show his strongest support. Talking about racing, Jimmy could chat non-stop about it. Lately, there would be a new racing movie s- howing and he said he definite- ly wouldn't give it a miss.
