| Jimmy Heading For US During The New Year Holidays |
| Jimmy won't be able to laze during this New Year holiday. Jimmy will complete his parts for QTDS by today, tomorrow he will take a flight back to Taiwan. On 16th, he will head for USA to participate in a series of anti-drug campaign activities. Moving around for the whole year, Jimmy said that his greatest wish for the new year is a reunion with his family members and have a good sleep. Because of CTS 8pm slot 'JSSJ', Jimmy had been flying between China and Taiwan for the past few months. Esp- ecially during the period film- ing for QTDS, the temperat- ure in Heng Dian had drop below freezing point. | Yesterday afternoon at Jing Hua Cheng shopping mall, Jimmy, Xiao Lu and some of the main cast were present for an autograph session. They had a great time with the fans and Jimmy sang the opening theme song while Xiao Lu sang the closing theme song. Jimmy had just returned back to Taiwan for the new year after completing his role in QTDS in China, while Xiao Lu will be leaving for Beijing today. | farewell to her fans after staying in Taiwan for a month. However, her fans pleaded her not to leave. This made her very touched and her eyes began to redden. Even Jimmy and the other cast members were affected by this moving scene and Ge Lei who portrayed as Aunt Tu in JSSJ can't help crying with her too. This year, Jimmy will be celebrating his Chinese New Year abroad and after that, he'll be heading for US. When he was singing on stage, he was still creating a whirlwind like that of the past. When he expressed that this year, he will be a full-time racer, all the fans begin shouting, "Must act! Must act in more shows!" Fans were very curious of the rumour about Tae and Xiao Lu. | Filming two films in Heng Dian, Jimmy had stayed there for ov- er 5 months. Finally, before the Lunar New Year, he is able to pack up and return back to Tai- wan. Everyone in JSSJ and Xia Yu Shun were amazed with him as they felt that being able to stay in such a small place like Heng Dian for 3 months is alre- ady a feat, but Jimmy was able to tolerate for another two more months. | Jimmy Was The First Asian Artiste To Receive Testimonial From The White House |
| Jimmy was in California for the anti-drug campaign which he was the ambassador of this event. In his busy schedule, it was filled with many activities; appearance for the Lunar New Year Parade in Hollywood, bo-wling contest and prize prese-ntation. Of course, the most meaningful event would be receiving the testimonial from the White House and being the first Asian artiste to do so. Eversince he accepted being the Anti-drug ambassador, aft-er judging his performance, ONDCP decided to present this honourable testimonial to him. Therefore, this is not easy to get. Jimmy had spent one year co-ordinating with East West Ba-nk for the various events, whic-h includes spending 2 months in US. This, to a popular star, giving up opportunities of mak-ing money to be involved in community events, is definitely commendable. Jimmy expressed that when taking part in the anti-drug eve-nts, interacting with children and youths, directing them towards the proper values and life attitudes, made him feel proud of this achievements, which is totally different from his work and career. | Hollywood, he wore a formal suit and stood on an antique car. That day, it was drizzling but throughout the whole pro-cess, he maintained his smile and waving continously to the spectators. His cooperation with East West Bank ended after the complet-ion of the bowling contest. Receiving the testimonial from ONDCP, at the same time, he received from East West Bank CEO, important documents of his anti-drug involvement and photos as a valuable memo-randum. Jimmy expressed that he won't stop continuing his part for anti-drug. Talking about working with Jimmy, East West Bank PR, Miss Wang expressed that she's very appreciative of Jim-my's accomodation and does-n't carry any airs around him. Just to participate in the Lunar New Year Parade in Hollywood, he woke up at 8 and only ate 2 eggs for breakfast which had to last him till afternoon. More-over, to rush for the bowling contest, he didn't have the cha-nce to eat something in bet-ween. But he didn't complain and even understand the incon-veniences the workers were facing.
