I've translated an article which I found from a Malaysian fan website where
Jimmy talks about his childhood life during an interview which is very
interesting and funny too.

[My Big Family]
About my family? It's a big one! Father, mother, one elder brother, two younger brothers, one younger sister, granny (father's mum), cousins (boys, 1 older and 1 younger than Jimmy), uncle and aunt (mum's elder brother and his wife)!  It's a big family. Even if there's no festive season, it is always very lively at home, since there were many people, especially kids!
Every Chinese New Year, everyone would  be very happy. As
there were many relatives and friends, we kept receiving red
packets. Therefore, I love Chinese New Year. But according to
the Taiwanese traditions, the older ones must give red packets
to the ones younger than himself. After me are 3 younger
siblings, which made me lose 3 'hong baos'. Sigh....haha! Just
                                   joking!
The funniest thing is when everytime we go out, it's always a big group of  people
as though we are joining a tour group. Also, every kid would wear the same
clothes. Even if it's not exactly the same, it must at least be of the same colour or
same design. I just don't understand why, like being afraid that others don't know
we're a family!
My house is full of family photos because we like to capture every beautiful
moments and keep them as momentos. At the time when I was young, the order was
from the eldest to the youngest, followed by from the tallest to the shortest. But now? The order is still the same, but from the shortest to the tallest! Ha! The older
ones have 'shrunk' while the children have all grown taller!

[Fight For Toys]
I started school at a younger age than others and normally, the
youngest student in class is me. However, the most playful and
naughtiest student was also me.  Don't  think that I'm the youngest
and having a small built,  but the one with the most naughty ideas
was me. Occasionally, a group of classmates and I would stand at  the
higher floors and  throw water down at  the students on the ground
floor. The feeling of making fun of others was fun!
Everyday, returning home after school, after putting down my bag, I
would go out of the house. Neither is there any special place to go
nor am I looking for friends to play with but I just like to go to the places near my
home and walk around. 5 to 10 minutes later, I would go home feeling satisfied. If I
don't go out in a day, I would make a nuisance of myself at home.
After I grow older, I like to go rollerblading with my friends in the park.  As I have
many siblings, we often fight because of trival matters, especially with my brothers.
As we are all boys, we loved to snatched for toys.  If we failed to snatch them, we
would start fighting. Although we often fight and quarrel, but come to
think of it now, the feeling is special. There's nothing a kid wouldn't fight
for especially when the greatest target is toys. I get along  very well with
my younger brother and when I have any good stuffs,  I would share it
with him.

Original Chinese article from
http://home.kimo.com.tw/vcjh/index.html
This isn't from the article but from an interview with MTV VJ George who was Jimmy's high school classmate.

As todays's event was held in a
KTV, the surroundings reminded
George of his most unforgettable
KTV experience.
It was during high school when he
and Jimmy went to a KTV together.
The waitresses there kept going
into the KTV room once every 3
minutes to serve them. And it was
obvious that the  reason  lies  with
Jimmy. He said that whenever any
waitress came in and saw Jimmy,
they can't even speak properly.

George's first vacation job was with Jimmy at "Jin Yuan Pai Gu" (a restaurant selling pork ribs). They were in charge of picking vegetables, washing them as well as delivery boys. They naively thought that they would be taught the skills of cooking 'fried pork ribs'. In fact, they were not even allowed to take a peek, so they
had to go back and stick to their work.
