| Jimmy & Tae as Twin Siblings |
| With closer observation, Jimmy and Tae really look like a pair of twins. Bo- th who first started out as singers; and from Taiwan and Thailand respe- ctively, will finally act together in a new drama as twin brothers in Xia Yu Shu- n's blockbuster of the year, 'Jue Shi Shuang Jiao'. Lately, Tae has done quite well in act- ing and had completed 2 films. As for Jimmy, after finishing the filming of 'Hua Yang Nian Hua', he had actual- ly planned to do only one drama each year but he decided to drop his plan after he was moved by Xia Yu Shun's sincerity. Both Jimmy and Tae had coincidenta- lly met each other a few times and felt that their smiles look most alike but Tae felt that his side view and Jimmy's is also alike, just like mirror image. | Jimmy Talks About His Father |
| Jimmy feels that his father is not only a friend, a mentor but also his investment consultant. From the time he entered show- biz, no one has ever heard a sc- andal about him or news about his girlfriend being publicised. Jimmy said that if there is no advice or gui- dance from his father, he may have been led to the wrong path. His fat- her often told him and his brothers, "Men's shoulders are used to bear responsibilities. Love and marriage have to be fair to the other party and not to commit to a relationship uns- eriously. Once committed, one must be responsible for his own doings." Jimmy likes to participate in comm- unity work and added that this is also because of his father's encour- agement, hoping that Jimmy, being a celebrity can give something to the society in return. Therefore, as long as he has the time, he would involve himself in community activities. However, like many investors, Jim- my and his father's investments has met up with some difficulties. He di- dn't deny that it was his father who introduced him into the stockmarket and currently, the market is very bad but he doesn't blame his father and said, "Nowadays, it is very rare that investors don't make a loss. | Jimmy who loves car racing was in full gear yesterday. He knows not only ho- w to make money but also to enjoy himself. This time, he turns the racing track into a holiday ground. Other th- an having a BBQ with his racing te- am members, he even prepared a ho- me theatre system. Under such unus- ual way of moral support, Jimmy had won his third champion. As his result keeps getting better, in t- he middle of this month, he will head for Zhuhai to take part in an internatio- nal race. Jimmy Creative add- ed that they're not hoping to give others the impres- sion that Won Bin is b- eing difficult but when t- hey are trying to handle Won Bin's schedule, th- ere were some difficult- ies. As Korean's method of filming his current mo- vie is to film for one d- ay and rest for two days, it affects his schedule. Won Bin himself is also a very private person so it is not very nice of them to ask him too much. | Jimmy Attended The Opening Of A New Hotel |
| On a hot summer day, is there any other choice other than staying at home enjoying the air-con? Find a nearby hotel to relax can not only can relieve fatigue, it can also re- move stress. Yesterday was the official opening of Zhong He Fu Peng Hotel. Altho- ugh it was also Father's Day, Jim- my, Zheng Jia Yu and Jolin Cai managed to afford the time to att- end the grand opening of this new international hotel before rushing home to reunite with their family members on this special day. Ji- mmy who was the first to arrive, smilingly said that he is very part- icular about the bathroom when- ever he chooses a hotel as he lo- ves to soak himself in the bathtub. That's why the bathroom must be clean and broad. Also, Jimmy ad- ded that he loves very soft bed. | While Jimmy's showbiz career is heading smooth- ly, he not only participat- es actively in community services, his racing inter- est is also successful. He even became the first Tai- wanese to take part in Ch- ina Renault Formula 2000 Championship. Jimmy has been involved in car racing for 4 years. This year, he had won 3 champions consecutively in Taiwan and would par- ticipate in this internation- al race held in Zhuhai Int- ernational Circuit this 18th and 19th, challenging the F1 car in the movie 'Driv- en' and competing with other well-known interna- tional racers. Other than being sponsored by Esso in Taiwan, there are also many tyres and car ac- cessories companies in Chi- na attracted by Jimmy's po- pularity and image as a pro- fessional car racer. Jimmy also added that in future, he would continue to involve in anti-drug activities. He would soon be busy with the filming of his new drama, 'JSSJ'; re- leasing his new music album at the end of the year; shoot- ing ads and this September, he would head for US to pro- mote anti-drug. He'll also be accepting the honor recognit- ion from the White House and Asian Youth Active Voluntee- ring recognition from Califor- nia's government. | Jimmy Clinched 2nd in Zhuhai |
| Another grand result to be added to Jimmy's racing re- cord. Not only is he the first Taiwanese racer to take pa- rt in an international Formul- a race, he also clinched 2nd in his first attempt and bring pride to his country. Being a racing enthusiast, Jimmy is standing stronger and doing well. During th- e 2 days race held in Zh- uhai on 18th and 19th, Ji- mmy managed to clinch thi- s precious 2nd place. Th- is is the continuation of him winning 3 consecutive ch- ampions back home and o- nce again, he had got hi- mself a fantastic result. Mo- reover, being able to win s- econd at a more advanc- ed level, Jimmy is very sati- sfied. In this 2-day race, it can be said to be filled with excite- ment and danger. | Starting from September, Jimmy's filming projects would be coming up. He has two dramas on hand - Jue Shi Shuang Jiao (JSSJ) and Qi Tian Da Sheng Sun Wu Kong (The Monkey God). Moreover, the fees he's paid by Yang Deng Kui for 'QTDS' is even double that under his own boss, Xia Yu Shun. Originally, Jimmy had plan to do only 1 drama a year but with his po- pularity, more drama contracts are coming his way. He has no choice but to drop his principle. Next mo- nth around the 9th, Jimmy would be heading for Shanghai to film JSSJ, co-starring with his junior, Tae and buddy, Wallace Chung. In addition, GTV's CEO, Yang Deng Kui and Hong Kong's Tian Zhon- g Entertainment plan to start the fil- ming for QTDS in October. Jim- my will be guest-starring in ten epi- sodes as 'Ne Zha'. As Yang De- ng Kui felt that Jimmy's lively expre- ssion is very suitable for this ro- le and spent a lot of effort to 'borrow' Jimmy from Xia Yu Shun. | Jimmy will be heading for Ch- ina to film two dramas. This time, he may have to film until early next January. Because of this, he specially booked an entire bowling alley for a gathering activity with his fans before he leaves Taiwan. In the end, as he hadn't been practising bowling for a lon- g time, he had actually lost to his fans. 'Jimmy Lin Fan Club', which was set up by Jimmy, would organise two activities every year.
