Any moment calling for Gert Frobe to speak as his dialogue is so badly dubbed! The saddest moment is when Tony's character Sgt. Warren, who had never been to Paris before, says the above dialogue and is promptly shot and killed by Nazi fire :'(

REVIEW
A sprawling epic of a WW2 film chronicling the departure of German occupiers of France in 1944, shot mainly in b&w because of the French objecting to the depicting of Nazi flags on film. The script shines, rightly so as it was penned by no less than Francis Ford Coppola and Gore Vidal and is supported by an outstanding cast of international stars.
