BEST QUOTE
"I got a shovel if you need 'un!" he wryly suggests to Paul Newman, after his revenge is executed on the men who tried to hang him.
BEST MOMENT
The 3-second pause before you triumphantly say "Hey.. THAT'S TONY!". He makes his first appearance in a tight, lingering closeup (a la Sergio Leone's Once Upon A Time In The West) and he's hardly recogniseable... especially if you have only seen him in those nice, clean-cut, boyish roles. He looks fantastically rugged and has longish, scruffy hair which I think, really really suits him. However, my favourite moment and my favourite character out of the whole film does not involve Perkins at all ... it's "Bad Bob"!
WORST MOMENT
After only five minutes, Mr. La Salle (Perkins) rides off into the desert with the same closeup that was used to introduce us to him. And that's it. We never see him again. We're left to be amused by a long line of similar big-name cameos for the rest of the movie!
