I'm reading your reviews and I just felt I should tell you than the scene "naked with sunglasses" it's not from Crimes of Passion but from Double Negative (he was almost 50 and he looked sooooooo goooooood!!!).

About Crimes of Passion, I think it was awful... almost pornographic, and I rented it with Desire Under the Elms. I watched them together and I just couldn't figure out how this guy started as a leading romantic guy and ended up holding a vibrator!!!! It made me really sad. I kept thinking that if someone told him back in 1958 that he was gonna be holding a vibrator and some rubber tits on a film in 1983 he would have just laughed really loud.

Anyway, I do think he has some really funny fine stuff in Crimes of Passion. When they are at the apartment and she's about to stab him and his knealing and he turns around and says "hu, hu, TOO LATE!"... that's great... and the song at the piano... that just tooooo good... I still want to kill myself because I should have definitely taped that part... It was fantastic and I just keep thinking of it over and over again.

Got to tell you, worst moment for me was (I have to tell you again) him holding a vibrator... not nice for such a fine gentleman.
