His smiley face and his songs of joy for me whenever I pulled up in the driveway can never be replaced. I can only ease the pain by knowing that I made the right decision to not let him suffer any longer.
He loved life and always enjoyed everything he did, even going for his annual trips to the vet. Even when we had our last walk around the gardens of the vet surgery he was still so excited that he still managed to pull me around everywhere, even though he could only use 1 back leg.....
I miss him terribly and look forward to the day we meet again.
