Our youngest son desperately wanted a puppy of his own, we already had 2 dogs and felt the time was not right for another dog. My husband and I were on our way to Johannesburg when the topic of a new puppy for my son came up. We discussed it at length and decided we were being unfair to Bryan and decided we would do it properly and get books out the library and do
research on different breeds. Bryan choose 2 different types of dogs and we read up on both. The first choice was a Clumber Spaniel and the 2nd a Norfolk Terrier. We contacted the Kennel Union of Southern Africa to find out who bred Clumber Spaniels and Norfolks Terriers in South Africa and found out there was only 1 Clumber registered in the country and 1 breeder
for Norfolks. We contacted the breeder of the Norfolks Jill Creasy and were told she had a litter of 3 which were ready to go to there new homes. We were asked many questions and after some time were told we could have one and decided on a male. We had kept it a secret from my son. Rusty arrived the middle of November 1992. That little fellow brought so much joy into out lives that we decided to get a friend for him. We lost George our cross St. Bernard/Irish Wolf Hound to cancer not long after we got Rusty. Our 2nd Norfolk Jaeva Touch of Spice (Suzie) a black & Tan arrived from the U.K. January of 1995. Our 3rd Norfolk Mossgiel Jolly Jack Tar (Jay Jay) arrived February 1996. Our first litter was born on 11/08/1996. Our 4th Norfolk Belleville Special Reserve (Meggie) arrived from the U.K. January 1998. Our family of Norfolks continues to grow. As the saying goes "Norfolks are like peanuts once you start you cant stop".

We are a small friendly kennel where visitors are always welcome.
