Star of Bethlehem
Someone has said, "when it gets dark, you can see the stars."
Perhaps at this time of year we might make a tiny change....
in that quotation: "when it gets dark, you can see the Star."
That Star of Bethlehem!
When things look bleak and dark you can look back,
Back to that beautiful Star of Bethlehem, Jesus Christ.
He can forgive the past. He can change the future.
He can give hope when there seems no possibility of hope.
Jesus will be there when the last carols are sung,
When the last present has been opened and the tree is dark.
After the Yule log has died out, and the colored lights
No longer shine. He'll be there if you ask Him
That beautiful Star of Bethlehem Who was born in a manger
Who died on a cruel cross for all who will believe... lives on.
Jesus is still that hope divine.... with the promise of Peace
Peace for now, Peace for the future, Peace for all eternity.
Will this be all forgotten when this season ends?
Don't let it be. Put your faith and your trust in Jesus Christ
