| GOD LOVES TRUCK DRIVERS |

As I drive the freeways and highways I'm very impressed with most truck drivers. The patience they have with cars that weave And wind in and out of lanes is remarkable. Surely there are times when they could wish Those in cars would use some common sense. Maybe wish they could have a heart to heart Talk with them. Maybe with a hint of violence. But rarely do you hear a horn of frustration. Or see a fist shaken out a window as they pass. Most of us who spend a lot of time driving Appreciate you guys who deliver the goods. Without truck drivers almost all the stores, And almost all the warehouses would be empty. The country would pretty much grind to a halt. Where would we be? You fellows are essential! But I have a question for you. Do you know Relationship to God is essential? Sure you do! But time goes on. The days slip by. Then The months and then the years. Time runs out. Where did it go! All that time we once had. But now it's gone. Forever gone. Can't be recalled. But wait. Don't get angry. It's not over yet. Jesus went to a cross for you truck drivers. And the best news is that if you ever sinned you Qualify for heaven. And who of us hasn't sinned? Jesus said, "I came not to call the righteous but. Sinners!" That means you! That means me! But we have to be deadly serious about the matter. And to realize that after it's over here. It's over. One day we have to meet the Judge of the Universe. It's then that we need an attorney to plead our case. The Bible says that there is only one mediator One attorney.between God and man. Jesus Christ. No priest, no preacher, can stand in your place. Only God who became man can present your defense. On that day Jesus will say, "I died for this person, For he or she came with their sins and trusted me." And the verdict will be rendered. Not Guilty! The case is closed forever. Because of Calvary. Just read a little further. Jesus wants you to trust And believe Him now. For time races on. Then why be average? Why follow the crowd? Bring you failures and sins to Him. He'll forgive you. H.W. McClelland |
