AHA Category Description:

Medium to dark brown. Sweet and malty. Low bitterness. Hop flavor and aroma low. Some fruitiness and esters. Medium body. Low diacetyl OK.

General Information:

Gravity 40 to50, Colour 15 to 22, IBU's 15 to 25.

 

My Recipe:- for 40 liters

Malts : 

Pale malt  4 Kgs
Crystal malt 0.35 Kgs
Chocolate malt 0.25 Kgs

Extracts :

Brown sugar 0.25 Kgs

Hops for 22 IBU's: 

1st Hopping

Southern Brewers    

20 grams

90 min Boil

2nd Hopping

Southern Brewers    

14 grams

20 min Boil

3rd Hopping

Southern Brewers    

1.4 grams

End of Boil

 

Mash temperature : 65 degrees Celsius

Start gravity : 1.034    Terminal gravity : 1.008

Yeast : English Ale Yeast slurry
