AHA Category Description:

Gold to copper. Low carbonation. Medium bitterness. May or may not have hop flavor or aroma. Low to medium maltiness. Light to medium body. Low to medium diacetyl OK. Fruitiness/esters OK.

General Information:

Gravity 33 to 38, Colour 8 to 12, IBU's 20 to 35.

 

My Recipe:- for 40 liters

Malts : 

Pale malt  5.5 Kgs
Crystal malt 0.3 Kgs
Amber malt 0.3 Kgs
Wheat 0.3 Kgs

Hops : for 27 IBU's: 

1st Hopping Southern Brewers 25 grams 90 min Boil
  Sterian Goldings 15 grams 90 min Boil
2nd Hopping Cascades 10 grams 20 min Boil
  Sterian Goldings 10 grams 20 min Boil
3rd Hopping Cascades 5 grams End of Boil

 

Mash temperature : 67 degrees Celsius

Start gravity : 1.040    Terminal gravity : 1.008

Yeast : English Ale Yeast slurry
