The Jason Project is training a new generation of explorers. Every year, they assemble a team of students, teachers, and scientists and set off on a new adventure in the spirit of Jason. They travel to unknown places, and they work together to answer questions about the nature of the universe and our place in it.
For the Past three years, W.H.R.C. has led the Pontiac School District in JASON participation. Each year, students from around the district visit the school to tour the dramatic student-created displays highlighting the year's JASON theme. The W.H.R.C. community hopes that these dramatic displays will generate interest in the Jason Project among students, parents, and community members. W.H.R.C. is the first Pontiac school to serve as a Jason network site.
