�� Joseph White was born ca 1751 in Amelia Co VA.� His family moved on to Bedford Co where he was married twice.� His first wife was Elizabeth� ? and his 2nd was Penelpe Taylor.� He had no children by Penelope.� He owned 8 slaves:� Lavinia and her two children, Mary and Margaret, Daniel, Booker, Bill, Eliza and Jordan.� He died in 1844 in Bedford Co and was in the Revolutionary War.� I am also trying to trace the descendants of the slaves
