Below is a list of the tartan grpahics files.
You may look at the *.BMP files with any viewer. To load a *.BMP file as a
windows background screen, copy the files into your windows directory
(C:\WINDOWS) and then go into: CONTROL PANEL, DESKTOP and select the tartan
in the WALLPAPER (set it to tile).

MCFADEN1.BMP - McFadyen Hunting. As supplied by the Chief of Clan MacLaine of Lochbuie.
MCFADEN2.BMP - McFadyen Hunting. Found in the collection of the late James MacKinlay and is in accordance with the count given by the late James Cant.
MCFADEN3.BMP - McFadyen Hunting. Taken from a coarse kilt in the possession of Dr. John MacFadyen of Stirling. The material is handwoven and was made by a weaver in Rogart c.1954
MCFADEN4.BMP - McFadyen Hunting. Found in a specimen obtained from D.C. Dalgleish of Selkirk.
MCFADEN5.BMP - McFadyen Hunting. This sett is from a specimen in the MacGregor Hastie Collection now in the possession of the Scottish Tartans Society.
MCFADEN6.BMP - McFadyen Dress. This version is from mid 19th century records of the Inverness Tweed Mills, Inverness, now pringles of Inverness. The late Miss Margaret MacDougall wrote: - "Beside the pattern is a note 'This piece of tartan was made at the time of Culloden. DMcD'. This appears to be Macdougall of the Tartan Warehouse - as it appears to be his writing and initials."
MCFADEN7.BMP - McFadyen Dress. Specimen woven in Rogart for Dr. John MacFadyen of Stirling c. 1948
MCFAD2.BMP - McFadyen Hunting. This is the same as the MCFADEN1.BMP, except I halved the thread count to make a prettier windows bit map.
MCLAINE.BMP - MacLaine of Lochbuie dress tartan. Dates back to probably the later part of the 18th century.
MCLAINH1.BMP - MacLaine of Lochbuie hunting tartan. Known to have been in use during the later years of the nineteenth century.
