The MacDougal clan are a vicious bunch that has harassed the people at MacLaaran ever since the old castle has sprung into new life. Mark was hauled off by the King of Scots to stand trial after the final battle in this wild affair. The bad news is that Mark has apparently escaped from the Crown's prison and is once again a threat t' safety in MacLaaran.
