Ian MacLeod is the great grandson of Robert and Sara MacLeod (aka Robert MacLaaran) Ian was born in 1284 but disappeared.
Ian alone can read and clarify the inscriptions that his great, great grandfather wrote on that pendant (medallion, as they call it now) in 1220. His intentions were to protect his true lineage. Over the years, generations had passed and only a select few even had a clue what had truly transpired when Robert impregnated Sara MacDougal.
